This week has been a good one!! - March 23

This week has been a good one but it has been draining!! A lot of work!! I have been a little sick and that is always so hard when you have to go out and work but I am feeling better now!!! Which is good!!! 

We have been working a lot and having to do a lot of things because we are leaders so it has been hard but we try to work every minute we can! Tuesday we had splits with the sisters in a city named Metan.  It is far from the capital so it was crazy we couldn't work at all that day because in the morning we had our district meeting and then we had to study and then we headed out for our road trip. Haha it was fun! We met up with the sisters and then I headed back with one of the sisters! We got back to our house at like 10 so we had to go back and go to bed!! But it was good!! 

Wednesday was a great day!! Honestly we saw a lot of miracles! We had a lot of lessons and God really helped us!! We were able to meet with a lady that we met last Saturday and we taught her lesson 1 and it was so good we talked about the 1st vision and she love it!! After we invited her to be bauptized and she accepted!! It was so great!!! We are excited! Also we have been talking with Carlos, the husband of Tatiana, and he is doing GREAT!!! He is excited! He is coming to all of the activities and he is reading in the Book of Mormon.  They are having family prayer everyday!! It is amazing!! Honestly!! He has had some problems with smoking so we don't know if he will be bauptized this week or next week but we are praying for a miracle and we know that it can come!!! We are excited!!! 

Also Martha is doing good! It is hard to talk with her because she is always working and doing things but we are excited she came to church this week. It was good to see her!! Also we have been working with her niece and she is wanting to come back to church!! It has been great!!! 

This week we have been blessed because honestly we haven't had all that much time to work because we have had splits but the Lord has blessed us with a lot of lessons and a lot of people to teach!! This work is the best! I love it so much!!!!

Merry Christmas!!!! - March 16

Hahaha well I think that I will explain the title! I woke up Saturday (my birthday) and my comp. said feliz navidad.... (Merry Christmas) haha whoops! It was funny but after she told me happy birthday! I have never had a birthday like this before!  It was one of the best days of my life!! Honestly! We were blessed with so many miracles! It was amazing! ...but i will get to those stories!

Monday night we had a family home evening with a family in our ward it was amazing!!! Honestly!! There were like 20 people and we loved every minute of it!! Also Tatiana and Carlos came with there kids! Tatiana was just bauptized and Carlos is an invest. it was great!  We talked about convenants and how we have to make them and then keep them!! It was amazing, the spirit was so srtong and we laughed A LOT!"!!! Haha thats always the best like you all know I love to laugh!!! 

Tuesday we had an amazing district meeting!! Honestly it was so great! Our district leader is from utah he is so great!!! He helps us so much!! We talked about the lost sheep and how we have to find the lost sheep!! It was great!! He told us the there is 99% of the people that won't accept our message and 1% that will and so we have to find that 1%! It was great!! 

We have had a lot of days this week with a lot of knocking doors.. it has been a little hard to find people to teach. We have investigators but they aren't progressing so we have had to drop them and we haven't had a lot of people to visit and when that happens we have to do a lot of searching!!! We have had some rough days of walking a lot and the people not wanting to talk with us but we both knew that God would bless us if we kept strong and working even though it was hard! We kept going... and going... and going... and nothing. It was really hard but we know that when days like this happen.... MIRACLES AWAIT US!!!! And that is just what happened! 

We have been working with a family.. fam. Bobarin  and they are really great! We have been trying a lot to help them go to church and it is really hard for them.. but this week we got them to go the church with us and Friday night for an actividad and it was great! They loved it and we were able to play ball and everything with all of the members and it was AMAIZNG!!!!

Also last week we contacted  Venessa in the street and she told us where she lived and so we went to visit her and she listened and 5 more people of he family listened! It was great.  They have a brother in the hospital who is in coma becuase he recked his moto with a car... so it was good to help them! And then..... we invited them to go to church witrh us and they said yes!!! And 3 of them actually came! It was so great!!! 

Okay okay i will now tell you why my birthday was so great!!! We had lunch in the house of some members and they cooked me steak!! It was so good  and we had ice cream and honeslty it was so good!! After we went to visit  Tatiana and Carlos! They were waiting for us outside!! It was great.  It was the 1st time that Carlos was just waiting for us! Haha we didn't even have to invite him!! We taught the 1st lesson and it was amazing! Honestly one of the best lessons that I have had in my mission the spirit was so strong you could feel it and they both were listening so well! It was great! My comp shared the 1st vision and during that moment... bammmmm!! The spirit was there!! They both had tears in there eyes! We asked Carlos how he felt as we were sharing the last vision and he said good and actually I got really emotional!!!! It was so amazing and we talked about our answers from the spirit and what we have to do when the spirit says that these things are true he looked at us and said well I guess you have to follow them and do what you have to do... silence.... Tatiana looked at him and said are you going to be bauptized?? And we looked at him.. and my comp. says Carlos if you know that this is true will you follow the example of Jesus Christ and be bauptized March 28th... silence..... and he says... YES!!!!!!!! Wow honestly we both were in shock... acutally all of us were in shock!!! Tatiana looked at him and said wow are you serious!! And he said yes! It was the best thing ever!! The best birthday present ever!!!!!!!!!!!! Honestly!!!!!!!! And yesterday he came to church with us and this week he os going to start working for a member and it is going to be amazing!! ETERNAL FAMILY!!!   

Also Martha is doing great and she is excited for he bauptism April 4th!! 

The Lord blesses us!!! He puts us in the path that we need to be so that we find the 1%!!! I am so blessed and happy to be here in the misison!! I love this work!!! It is the best!!! Oh and FYI my comp and I never speak english.... haha she can't speak either so you are just going to have to all deal with the fact that I can't speak well!!! Love you all!! And I hope you have a good week!!!!!!  

What a week!! - March 9

Wow this week has been a crazy one!! Full of meetings with the president and everything!! Tuesday we had our mission leader counsil and it was really good!!! I had to give my last testimony... Wow I can't believe it yet.  I don't want to to come to an end... but next point! Haha we have been super busy. We have been been put in chage of the other zone of sisters and so now we have to do everything with both of the zones! It is super great!! But we have a lot of meetings! Because we have to do the same thing two times!!! But it is good.  Tuesday and Thursday and Friday we were in meetings and conferences but it was good we talked a lot about obedience and also about family history!! It was good that I got to share my family story and everyone liked it!! 

This week we had a lesson with the Aunt of some less actives and she has been listening to the missionaries for a long time but has never accepted to be bautptized.. and this week..... we went to her house and she wasn't home so we went to talk with someone that lives right in front of her and when we finished talking with her she just had got home so we went and talked with the aunt.  Her name is Martha! We started talking with her because for the last 2 weeks she has been coming to church and we asked her why she is going to church and she looked at us and told us because I feel good there and I want to tell you both the answer before you ask me I want to be bauptized the 4th of April!!!!! We both looked at each other in shock and just said okay we can do that!! Haha so we are excitd to have a bauptosm for my last week..

Also I got a call Monday from one of my investigators from Limache and she invited me to her bautism!!! I freaked out haha I was so happy so I asked for permission from our president and he let us go to her bauptism!! It was great! I cried a little bit.... okay a lot! It was nice to be able to see the fruits of Limache!! 

Tatiana es doing great and her husband is coming to all of the activities and doing a lot of things with the members!! Yesterday he even listened to our lesson!! It was great!! We are happy and just need to be patient and we know that he will come around!! 

Honestly this week has been a great one!! Loving and serving the Lord!!!! I love being a missionary and I don't want to leave it!!!  It is the best thing ever!!! I am so happy that I can be here serving and doing everything that I can! I love you all so much! and talk with you soon!! -

My new comp! 

What a week!!!!! - March 2

This week has been FULL of miracles!!!! We had a bautism! It was amazing!!!!!!!!!!! Honestly!!!! Tatina was so happy!!! Also her husband who isn't a member came to the bautism and he liked it and then yesterday he came to church and also to the home evening we had!!! IT WAS GREAT!!!!!!!! We are going to be working a lot for this eternal family!!!! 

The bautism was amazing!!! Honestly!! The spirit was so strong!! There were a ton of members that came!!!! It was so great she was so excited to get in the water!!! You could see it on her face and after you could just see the peace in her eyes!! Sunday was great because she was confirmed and this week our mission president came to our ward and so he got to be a part of her confirmation!!! It was AMAZING!!!!!!!! Honestly! It was the best thing ever!!!! 

This week we also found a new family!!! We are so excited!!! The Bobarin family!! They are great! The only thing that they keep telling us it that they want to have peace and that they want unity! We both just looked at each other like, well we can help you with that!! And the best part is.... THEY ARE MARRIED!!! Haha sometimes that is the hard part because we have to help them get married and everything but we are super excited!  

Another Crazy Week!! - Feb 23

I am so sorry but you all know how it is when there are transfers! It has been crazy here!!! I have my new comp.. ..........she is from idaho!!! WHAT my first and only from North America!!! Her name is Hermana Moss!! She is really sweet!! Haha I don't know much about her but she is excited to work a lot and we are going to work a lot!!!!! This week we have a bauptism!!!!! Tatiana! We are excited and hoping everything goes well!!! Today in centro of Salta we ran into a group of men like 25 years old and they were trying to figure out something but they don't speak Spanish... haha it was funny so I had to translate everything for them... and little do you know they are from Israel !!! WHAT!!!!!!! They are Jews haha and we invited them to church!!! It was great!!!! We started talking and the first thing they say is we are Jewish! Haha and we said thats okay we talk with everyone!! It was so hard to talk with them in English....this will be interesting!!!! Well I hope all is well!!!! LOVE YOU ALL SO MUCH!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
