it is so amazing working with a new missionary they have a spirit that is so strand and they really bring so many miracles to the work!! we have been working really hard and we have seen a lot of miracles!!!
the best for this week!!! we are just arrived to eat lunch with a member family!!(yes mom everyday we have lunch with our members) and they invited a invest. to come to lunch with us!! it was good he walks in and he goes to give me a kiss on the cheek. (it is how you greet someone here) and well we cant greet the man with a kiss and it was so awkward.. because all i could do was move my head out of the way and say the hand no more!! haha it was horrible! i felt so bad!! and Juan... felt horrible. well we started eating and he wasn't really talking all that much and one of the sisters said Juan it is a rule that they cant greet man with a kiss it isn't that she doesn't want to... and then we explained our rule and he still felt a little bad but we were just like don't worry!!! it was funny!!! we then it lightened a little so we could talk and it was a great lunch!! we set up an appointment for the next day to be able to really talk with him and we left.. well then we go to the house the next day and one of the 1st things he asks me is "what do i need to do to be a member of your church".... lets just say i was shocked... i had this smile that was HUGE and it probably was pretty funny because i couldn't believe it!!! and then i didn't know what to say.... and the member that was with us just got home from the mission and he goes.. " Juan you just said the words that EVERY ,missionary want to hear! and know hna Griffiths cant talk!!" look what you did" haha it was funny!!! really but i finally got my words and explained to him that he just needed to listen to us and complete with the things we ask himn to do! and he said perfect!! it was amazing! and the best part is after we had an amazing lesson about the plan of salvation!! it was so great!! the spirit was so strong!! and he is going to be bauptized next week!!! really can i just say the lord works miracles!!!! it was so so so so so great!!!!
this morning i got a message from Juan and he said when are we going to meet yesterday when you where talking(i gave a talk yesterday in church) i started crying and could feel something really good inside and i want to talk with you guys about it is that you can explain it!!!! WHAT!!!! really it was so great! really the lord can just put the people that are ready in our paths!! it was amazing!!! and we are really excited to be able to help him change his life!!!
Javier is great!! he is such an amazing person! really he is so strong! and wants to learn so much! we are excited to be able help him more and more!! he has been going on visits with us and really his spirit is so strong!!!
this week we also had conference with our president! and it was so great!! Presidente Chaparro is an amazing person!! he is really... there isn't words! he helped me so much this week he just makes you want to work so hard!!! he never forces us he just gives you the want... haha i cant speak English!! but he just helps us want to work so much!! really it is so great!!
my companion is wonderful!! she is really a great teacher!! she is learned a lot and is helping me remember a lot of things!!! she is always happy to learn new things and haha we are always laughing together!!! really it is great!!!
oh and the womens conference was so great!!! i loved it!! i hope that you all understand and take advantage of going to the temple as much as you can... it has been a year since i have gone and i really do need it!! it is one of the only things that makes me want to come home!! just so that i can go to the temple EVERYDAAAAYYYYY!!!!! haha
really i have said it once and will never stop saying it!! i love this work!! i love bring people to Christ!!!
