first of all i love my new mission president! he is great!! uncle Ron you need to talk with your friend paul parkinson because my mission president know him and he has been to aggies games!!! haha it was really great he did say that he is a cougar but hey at least he has been in the true blue stadium!! haha but he is really great!! he is really a great leader and i am really excited to be able to work with him!! i know that he is the person called of god right now to help us with the work!!!
well we had some great miracles this week!!!
WELL we where knocking doors and well they weren't home and the neighbor came out and said they aren't home.. so we presented our selves and he started talking and he said well i don't believe in any of the churches right now in the world because i have read the bible and it talks about the apostasy and how the church need to be made of 12 apostles and a prophet and that Christ is the head of the church,... lets just say that all we said was.. i testify that what you are saying in right and we helped him understand everything!!! we gave him a Book of Mormon... and turns out he doesn't live in our area... how sad but we sent the directions to our comp. and they are going to visit him"" but really it was a experience out of this world!! because he is so prepared to hear this message!! rally it was so great the spirit was so strong!! and we where outside really it was great! i am keep him in my prayers daily because he really needs to just be bauptized!!! haha nothing more he knows everything!!
after Monday night we where knocking doors and i remembered a door that a member had told me was an old invest. so i felt we needed to go there again! so knocked and she remembered my face because we had talked with her one time before and she said that she didn't have all that much time... well we said we didn't need much time just a couple of minutes! so she said okay pasen! haha well we started teaching her and we were talking about prophets and all of the sudden out of nowhere the question cam e from my mouth.. " do you think that god hears and answers your prayers?" and all of the sudden she started crying!!!! she cried for like 3 minutes and we just sat there in silence... and then she said you know what this morning i prayed to god that he would send someone to me to be able to teach me the right way to pray.. she said that she has been wondering for a while if she has been praying correctly and all we could say was.. well we are here to teach you!! really it was great! she said a prayer and could barely talk because she was crying!""" really it was such a wonderful experience!
really the lord has been blessing us so much this week with so many opportunities to share the gospel!! really and to be able to help the people come unto Christ!! i am so happy to be here in the mission it is the best thing ever!! i love serving the lord!!! and guess what i cant believe.. 9 months i am half way done!! haha and I never want to leave!! don't worry yes i miss you all but i love this work i love serving the lord and helping the people come unto Christ!!! it is the best feeling in the world!!! haha thank you all for your support!!! really i love this work i hope that you are all taking advantage and helping with the work in your houses!! because really you will be able to see the work of gods hand in you lives!!!
